Chefs With Heart Dinner Dance – Westport, CT

Too funny! Today I walk into the gym ready to work out and the first question out of Kevin’s mouth was “How could you eat Popeye chicken and drink beer?” Just to fill you all in on what he talking about. Over the weekend I went to a Halloween party at Scot Haney’s house a ton of fun by the  way and amazing costumes. Anyway, I went as  Lackey from the Red Sox Dressed in full uniform the kicker was  around my neck I had a (Empty) box of Popeye Chicken and Beer Cans. I am a die hard Red Sox Fan and all over the news lately they have showcased the controversy of Beckett and Lackey caught drinking beer and eating Popeye’s chicken in the dugout during the games…So to go back to Kevin, I posted what my costume was he read about it and took it like I was sitting around drinking beer and eating fried chicken…He laid into me with NO weight loss last week and having done this over the weekend” how could I ?”…I clearly settled his frustration by addressing what my costume was all about and he eased up (Thank goodness). First of all, I don’t eat fried chicken and if I did it would be homemade and not from a fast food chain. Secondly, not a big beer drinker unless I am at Eli’s in Middletown sipping on a micro brew.
